CAREER SUMMARY 1987-Present Smith Chiropractic Developed and managed Smith Chiropractic in El Cerrito, California. During this time the clinic has grown from a solo doctor, single room facility, to a multi doctor, two thousand square foot office. The facility offers state-of-the-art Chiropractic care, Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, and complete X-Ray services. In additional to traditional Chiropractic care, our clinic is a Corporate Affiliate of the American Academy of Pain Management and offers to the public the Shealy Pain Program. The Shealy Pain Program is a system of care for lower back pain that was developed by the world renowned Neurosurgeon, Norman Shealy, M.D. The Shealy Pain Program has documented success in over 8000 patients with Lumbar Disc Pathology. Current research documents the program as being 78% successful for patients that normally need lower back surgery. Such surgeries are typically only 30% successful.
